Team Event
The Ken Shaw Tournament was played this year as a different format to
previous years. Congratulations go to
the Greta teams who made the final.
In order to assess the success of the new format the committee is
inviting feedback from all clubs which will be collated and published on the
website.
All information received will be treated in the strictest confidence and
the source will remain anonymous.

discussion points:
1.
No-one we spoke to at the tournament seemed to like the rally point
scoring system, ourselves included. BUT does this scoring help
the lower teams to keep closer to the top teams?
2. Greta Juniors lead at
the end of the tournament but lost the final. Do we need a final?
3. Suggestion: To help
with the timing of the tournament and to limit knocking up, a time limit could
be imposed, i.e. after a stated
amount of time, a bell could ring to stop play and points gained so far would
be counted.
